Why the Islamic Caliphate and Hamas are not only a problem for Israel but to the West also.

The blundery of the Obama Administration is too evident to be mentioned in this post, let us say that Mr. Obama has opened his mouth but he has not put the money where he put his words, and as a result of his lacklustre management of the crisis in the Middle East, now the world is being threatened by a new regime, cruel, despotic, murderous and psychopathic such as the Islamic Caliphate which has been established in Syria and Iraq.

In order to understand why, in spite of the fact that Syria is governed by a Shiite-Alawite minority, part of it has succumbed to an authoritarian regime being headed by a sombre character named Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, it is necessary to understand that Mr. Obama and his administration have done a far worse job than even that of Mr. Carter, since Mr. Obama has flouted basic rules of international diplomacy, not only when bragging that the United States would intervene in Syria if Mr. Assad used chemical weapons and not doing anything after ward, but also because of withdrawing American troops from Iraq, leaving a feeble Iraqi army to fend against a more powerful enemy whose thirst for power is disguised as the quest to establish a Islamic state.

Many have been the tactical and strategic blunders that have lead to this current predicament which is far worse than what the media portrays; the radical ways of the Islamic Caliphate in Syria and Iraq show no signs of diminution, rather, prediction shows that it will expand quicker and more aggressively, unless the international community does something about it. Let us not kid ourselves, Mr. al-Baghdadi is a terrorist, his only aim is to obtain power for the sake power and to serve his masters in Qatar, who are responsible for the deaths of so many people.

The sheiks in Qatar along with the Saudis are not interested in establishing Shari’a for the sake of promoting religion for the betterment of the people, instead, their purpose is to obtain control of the strategic positions where they will be able to control the petrol lines and the commercial highways, which in turn will make them more powerful than their Shiite counterparts who are also looking into doing the same thing.

Curiously enough, just as the Islamic Caliphate has advanced at mind-boggling speed, it uses decoys to deceive the naïve West by resorting to Hamas, an organisation which is also part of the Sunnite wing of Islam, which attacks and provokes Israel so that Israel has no other alternative but to defend itself; this obviously goes to show the orchestration of the Caliphate in Raqqa and of the sheiks in Qatar, who ordered Hamas to intensify the rocket strikes against Israel, knowing that the anti-Semitic international media would bash Israel for defending itself and that it would focus most of its time and energy admonishing Israel, while the terrorist forces in Syria and Iraq started a military operation to advance at astonishing speeds and take control of a great part of Syria and Iraq.

As always, Israel is the nation that ends up paying for the mistakes the West makes because Israel stands as an ally of democracy, but it is impossible not to think that Mr. Obama, an anti-Semite and a Sunni Muslim, would not take actions to favour his comrades in Iraq and Syria as well as those of Hamas as he has done. The problem is that he did not calculate his risks very well, because with his braggart demeanour towards the Assad regime and his lack of intervention in a conflict that could have been stopped, had he not opened his mouth, the international community would have been forced to make Mr. Assad stop the usage of chemical weapons and backdoor diplomacy would have been applied to pressure the Saudis and the Qataris to stop financing the Sunni rebels.

I must confess that I had not seen it coming, the whole rise against Assad in Syria was not really an effort of the Arab spring, but a deliberate operation by the Qataris and the Saudis to take control of an area they have always wanted to colonise but without the effort or responsibility of sending their own troops.

The whole conflict between Israel and Hamas is just a smoke screen used to drive away attention from what was happening in Syria in Iraq, while Israel is being smeared by the international community for defending itself. There are some deluded people who call what is happening in Gaza a genocide, but these same people turn their face the other way when being confronted about the actual genocide that the Islamic Caliphate is committing, thus showing an incongruent attitude with regard to the protection of human rights.

By the same token, these people who call Israel genocidal do not seem to do the same with Hamas, let us remember that according to International Law, Israel is defending itself against a foreign and hostile force whose aim is to obliterate Israel from the map, whereas in the case of Hamas, it is acting illegitimately, since its belligerence does not represent the majority of Gazans, plus it has committed war crimes by forcing civilian populations to become military targets.

Mr. al-Baghdadi has stated that he intends to expand the Islamic Caliphate beyond its current borders and he has openly said that he plans to take Europe and the United States too; this means that the problem with Hamas and with the Islamic Caliphate is not only one that Israel will have to deal with, but the whole world as well, since its ways and ideology are totalitarian, cruel, despotic, ruthless and expansionist.

Instead of pointing the finger at Israel for defending itself, the West should go against Hamas, just like the moderate Arabs are doing, because eliminating Hamas will be the beginning to destroy the Islamic Caliphate and to bring to justice the oppressors of the people; there is a small problem that the academicians and the politicians in the West will have to deal with and it has to do with foregoing their anti-Semitism; if they do not let go of their judeophobic ways, we will all be doomed to fight a long war against radicals whose sole aim is to obtain power for the sake of power itself but under the guise of Islam.
